I decided to use an old worn out hacksaw blade to make a knife. The handle is made from a wood called Jarrah and the pins are 2mm brass rod. No epoxy was used on this handle.

I decided to try and make one as a Kiridashi shaped hobby knife. Which is from what I can tell the most commonly used blade in x-acto knives. I also tried to make a mini chisel shaped one but as you will see that failed. In the future I will make some more and perhaps even a step by step or tutorial style. So other people can avoid the mistakes I made here. It is a lot of fun to reuse something that I was going to throw away. As well as get a useful tool from it that I was probably going to buy in the future and now don't have to.
