For 2022, Toyota has totally refreshed the 86 with a new 2.4L Boxer engine, a strengthened and reinforced chassis, updates to the steering, suspension, and gearbox. It doesn't have a turbo, but as we will see in the video, that is good. And it is cheap, starting at under $30,000. On the fast, sweeping road course at Monticello Motor Club, we learn that what they have actually done is make an already excellent product even better.
