The humble little Parrot Anafi is the Rodney Dangerfield of the drone world. It gets no respect. This drone has been on the market for three years, and has many of the features that are just now being introduced in some other consumer drones. We do a flight test here, and try out the Dolly Zoom feature and some other flight modes. I regretted selling my previous Parrot Anafi, and I was able to buy this one on Woot.com for $299 on sale.
It's lightweight and portable at 320 grams. It has a 2 axis mechanical gimbal while electronically stabilized in the 3rd axis. The gimbal will tilt 180° allowing the camera to look straight up or down. The camera features a 1/2.4 sensor and will shoot video up to 4K 30 FPS in HDR with a 100mbs transfer rate. Parrot claims a 4KM range however the reality is nowhere near that. They also claim a 25 minute flight capability. It will handle sustained winds up to 30 mph, and gusts up to 50 mph.
