2020 Mazda MX-30 crossover follows Mazda’s Kodo design language and, but focuses on making it more human-centered. It also heralds the arrival of the company’s first all-electric powertrain, branded as the E-Skyactiv.

#2 Mazda MX-5 Miata & 30th Anniversary Edition

While the rotary-powered RX9 is still at the “rumors” stage, the iconic Miata remains the only sportscar we can currently get from Mazda. In July 2019, the company released a special Mazda MX-5 Miata 30th anniversary edition, which is limited to 3000 units globally.

#3 2020 Mazda CX-30

More than a few months have passed since the reveal of the Mazda CX-30, but we still remain in the dark about the car’s full specifications for North America market. The recently revealed CARB certifications suggest two powertrains, a 2.0-liter Skyactiv X paired to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission, or a 2.5-liter inline-four mated exclusively to the automatic.

#4 2020 Mazda 6

Available in 5 trim levels, the 2020 Mazda 6 sedan gets a small price bump of $200 for the 2020 model, but unfortunately, the awaited redesign based on the Vision Coupe is till nowhere to be seen. Despite previous announcements, the 6 remains a FWD-only model for now, but AWD capability and a new Skyactiv-D diesel engine might be added later in the year.

#5 2020 Mazda 3 TCR

The stunning Mazda 3 hatchback is entering the 2020 model year in an all-new iteration – a track-only TCR-sanctioned racer. At heart of the 2020 Mazda 3 TCR is a 2.5L 4-cyllinder turbocharged to produce 350 horsepower and 361 lb-ft of torque.

#6 2020 Mazda CX5

After a major redesign in 2017, we didn’t expect the Japanese to impress us in the upcoming model year, but Mazda proved us wrong. Its exterior retains delicate body lines emphasized by glossy grille with sleek headlights, but adds new 19-inch alloy wheels for Grand Touring trim and above. The CX-5 also brings additional trims and expands its powertrain offerings.

#7 2020 Mazda 3 Sedan

The sedan version of the 3 remains a solid buy but due to its overall freshness it is left primarily untouched for the 2020 model year. Depending on the market where you are shopping this compact is sold with 3 gasoline and 1 diesel engine option.

#8 2020 Mazda CX-3: mazdausa.com/vehicles/cx-3

This subcompact crossover entry in Mazda’s lineup is a reliable car with good performance, and excellent safety and fuel economy, But considering that this year the manufacturer is focusing on the CX-30, this crossover is being carried over with no changes whatsoever.

#9 2020 Mazda 3 Hatchback

I would argue that Mazda 3 hatchback is one of the best-looking compact cars on today’s market and with the availability of the AWD configuration, it is one of the best handling as well.

#10 2020 Mazda CX-9

Mazda CX-9 has been in its second generation since 2016, and for the 2020 model year, it becomes even more competitive. The base Sport trim gets a power driver’s seat, auto high beams, plus heated mirrors and front seats as standard.
