Hello. It's SciFy, Science for You!
Before taking over Twitter, back in 2014, Elon Musk once tweeted, saying, "AI could be more dangerous than nuclear." Many thought Elon Musk's tweet was just a jest, but little did we know, it could be interpreted as a signal towards the future of humanity. This warning has since been validated. In 2023, Geoffrey Hinton, hailed as the Godfather of AI, resigned from Google after more than a decade of working and developing AI technology at the search engine giant. His reason? Hinton expressed that the dangers of AI extend beyond just replacing human roles. According to him, AI has the potential to blur human perceptions of the world, including truth and falsehood.
