Our first look at the new Sigma 28-70mm F2.8 DG DN for Sony E mount lens! This is now the smallest and lightest full-frame F2.8 standard zoom lens. We lent this Sigma 28-70mm lens out to our photographer hobbyist friend Jainiz Sanchez, and she took it out to an event and had a blast.

The Design of this Sigma 28-70 lens is based on Sigma’s existing 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN Art lens, with the same uncompromising optical performance and coming in at nearly 1 lb lighter. It’s lightweight and compact body ideal for day-to-day shooting. This lens answers the need for a high performance, lower priced and smaller size F2.8 standard zoom for full-frame mirrorless cameras coming in at $899 for Sony E mount and L mount cameras. This lens will be available in mid March.
