In this episode, we will be reviewing our past May the 4th videos and showing how we would make an extending, retractable, and duelable lightsaber. LIGHTSABER BUILD CONTEST:
1. Make an electronic, duelable extendable and retractable lightsaber. Electronic: must use electricity to power mechanism for retracting and extending the blade. Extendable: The blade must be fully concealed by the hilt when retracted and extend to at least two feet, exposing at least 90% of the blade outside of the hilt. Retractable: From a fully extended position must pull fully inside the hilt. Duelable: When extended, the blade can strike objects without breaking or bending.
2. Contact us by email at [email protected] by 11:00 PM CST November 1, 2023. You may submit pictures or links to video. We will contact you to set up a video call to interview you and film you demonstrating your lightsaber.
3. Viewers will be asked to vote for a winner on the community page, unless there is less than two submissions.
4. The winner will be the individual with the most votes, or the only applicant.
5. The winner will receive a $100 Amazon gift card code by email. Winners are responsible for local taxes or fines. This is not a game of chance, but an award.
