What is the purpose of our Snout Savers?
Snout Savers are installed on the bottom of the front end of your corn snouts. They lift the point off the ground and create a larger surface area for ground contact. This keeps the snout from digging into the dirt and wrinkling the snout.

How many Snout Savers do I need to order?
You will need one less center Snout Saver than your row count, plus two end Snout Savers. For example, if you have an 8 row corn head, you will need 7 centers and 2 outside Snout Savers.

Are the inside Snout Savers and outside Snout Savers different?
Yes, the outside Snout Savers are narrower than the inside Snout Savers.

Will May Wes Snout Savers work with my header height control?
Yes. If we don't have a notched Snout Saver for your particular model, you can easily notch one out with a saw.
