هل تعتبر نفسك محظوظا انك كنت من قلة تعلمو في ذلك الوقت في وقت كانت فرص التعليم فيه قليلة بالنسبة الى الناس؟
نعم كنت محظوظا لان عددا صغيرا فقط من الأولاد كان يتم قبوله في المدارس الانجليزية وهي مدارس ابتدائية وثانوية وأنا كنت في المدارس الملوية أيضا وهذه كانت مفتوحة لأعداد أكبر من الطلاب مقارنة بالمدارس الانجليزية.

Do you consider yourself lucky that you were one of the few people to have been educated at that time? In a time where few educational opportunities were presented to people?
yes. I was lucky because only small number of boys were admitted into the English schools which is primary and secondary schools and I was in the Malay schools as well and those were open to more students compared to the English schools.
