Kang’s forces launch a sudden attack on the rebels, who are caught off guard by the arrival of M.O.D.O.K. As M.O.D.O.K. vaporizes some of them, Cassie reveals to her father that she has a super suit that allows her to shrink and grow. During the chaos, M.O.D.O.K. captures Scott and Cassie and reveals his true identity as Darren Cross. He explains that he survived his subatomic encounter with Scott and became the ultimate weapon. Darren admits to luring Cassie into the trap by sending her a signal. He then takes Scott and Cassie to Kang the Conqueror.
