For our front garden I wanted a couple tall evergreen plantings that fit in a very tight space between our front garage windows. I needed an evergreen that I wouldn't have to worry about it getting too tall and needing pruning. 'Blue Arrow' Juniper fit the needs for our front garden area. This Western redcedar cultivar grows from 12 to 15 ft tall but stays a compact 2 ft in diameter! (I have seen some websites that say it can get as tall as 20 ft) It is a perfect choice to locate between the windows to soften the brick.

For design reasons the junipers will help to soften the brick wall of the garage and add some nice green contrast. They are evergreen which will provide color year rought. They also mimic the look of Italian Cypress trees.
