Duas Translated presents the first ever Dua Arafah recorded in English.

This is the prayer of The Grandson of the Holy Prophet (saww) Imam al Hussain (as) on the Day of Arafah.

Bishr and Basheer, the sons of Ghalib al-Asadi, narrated that they once accompanied Imam Hussain (as) on the night of Arafah as he left his tent with humility and submission.

Accompanied by a group of his household, sons, and servants, he walked slowly until he stopped at the left side of Mount Arafah and turned his face towards the direction of the Holy Ka'bah.

Like a poor man begging, he then raised his hands in supplication to the level of his face and recited this dua.
