James Kalm has a passion for the idea of “Art History”. Your correspondent met Regina Bogat in the early aughts. Regina, is a profound artist, and member of the New York School, who put her art career on the back burner, to accommodate the vocation of her husband Alfred Jensen. This exhibition presents works produced from 1965 to 2008. Rico Gatson is an essential member of the “Bushwick” art scene. This show at Miles McEnery displays Rico’s latest progressions, and presents an intriguing development of his painterly skills.
