Greg Lukianoff, First Amendent lawyer and President of the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE), unravels the double standards surrounding issues of free speech and political neutrality at Harvard and other prestigious institutions like it. The current public debate follows the harsh backlash against on-campus protests and public statements in reaction to the recent Israel-Hamas conflict. Lukianoff exposes how Harvard often exhibits a bias during turbulent political events but retreats to a guise of neutrality when convenient, rather than authentically committing to free speech and political openness.

Lukianoff co-authored "The Coddling of the American Mind" with Jonathan Haidt and recently released a new book, "The Canceling of the American Mind," co-authored with Rikki Schlott.
