Beth and I review the interior in the 2022 Volkswagen Taos. The Taos is an all-new model for Volkswagen designed specifically for North America to address the one common shortcoming of most subcompact crossovers, backseat space. Measuring a bit longer than most other subcompact CUVs, the Taos not only has one of the roomiest back seats in the segment, but also one of the largest cargo areas too. Up front, it has one of the most high-tech interiors in this segment with digital gauges and touchscreen infotainment that includes wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. It still isn't the most luxurious interior in this segment, but for those looking for lots of space and/or lots of tech in a subcompact SUV, the VW Taos interior should impress.
