The government should proceed with caution in development and use of AI in warfare, says the House of Lords Artificial Intelligence in Weapon Systems Committee in its new report.

This committee is one of four special inquiry committees created for 2023. Each year, the House of Lords appoints up to four committees to investigate an important, specific topic such as youth unemployment, digital fraud or regenerating seaside towns.
