iPad 2010
Apple kicked off 2010 with the unveiling of its next big thing, the #iPad. On 27th January, Steve Jobs took to the stage to unveil the long-rumored Apple tablet.

iPad 2
The second model in the iPad line it gained a faster dual core A5 processor, a lighter build structure, and was the first iPad to feature VGA front-facing and 720p rear-facing cameras designed for FaceTime video calling.

iPad mini
It is a sub-series of the iPad line of tablets, with a reduced screen size of 7.9 inches, in contrast to the standard 9.7 inches. The first generation iPad Mini was announced on October 23, 2012. It features similar internal specifications to the iPad 2, including its display resolution.

iPad 3
The third-generation iPad was marketed as "The new iPad." The brand-new Retina display was a first in the iPad line and the commercials often focused on the display as its main selling point.

IPad Air
Apple announced the next major addition to the iPad lineup on October 22. After a few generations of the iPad 2 design, the Air was the next big leap forward for the tablet. It featured skinnier side bezels, a thinner 7.5mm chassis and a 25% reduction in weight. Apple upgraded the front and rear cameras significantly, starting a brief streak of marketing the rear shooter as an “iSight” camera.

iPad Air 2
Apple iterated on the iPad Air in 2014 with the iPad Air 2, which was even thinner, The iPad Air brand was then temporarily discontinued, but Apple brought back the iPad Air brand in 2019.


The combination of 12.9-inch screen, iOS 9 productivity features (like two-apps-at-a-time multitasking), and higher starting price (2015 iPad Pro started at $799 with 32 GB storage) tried to seriously propel Apple’s tablet efforts as a replacement for a laptop.

iPad Pro 2018
Due to the relative size of the screens, Apple slimmed the iPad bezels on all four sides uniformly so that they were as thick as the TrueDepth sensor housing was big, removing the need for a notch.

Apple introduced a second-generation Apple Pencil that was designed from the beginning with the new iPad Pro in mind.

iPad Pro 2020
The 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models were updated in March 2020 with a faster A12Z Bionic chip, a new 10MP Ultra Wide camera to complement the traditional 12MP camera, a LiDAR depth scanner for improved augmented reality experiences, and more. There's also a new Magic Keyboard with Trackpad and the new iPad Pro models continue to work with the Apple Pencil 2.

iPad 2020
The Apple iPad (2020) specs include Apple A12 Bionic chipset, 10.2-inch Retina display, 32GB/128GB storage and iPadOS 14. The tablet is available for the starting price of $329.
This device is also known as Apple iPad 8th generation

iPad Air 2020
The Apple iPad Air (2020) or 4th generation is the first Apple device powered by the next-gen 5nm A14 Bionic chipset. Other specs include a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, 12MP main camera, USB Type-C, and five new colors. The Apple iPad Air (2020) is available for a starting price of $599 (Wi-Fi only model with 64GB storage).


iPad Pro 2021
The Apple iPad Pro 12.9 is the 5th generations of the most powerful tablets of the iPad family. It comes with the new M1 chip and Apple's Liquid Retina XDR display. The specifications also include 5G variant and new ultra wide 12MP camera on the front. The storage space can be up to 2TB combined with with up to 16 GB RAM. Prices will start from 1099$.
