This video is dedicated to explaining how to go from absolutely no business at all to your very first bookkeeping client all in 6 weeks! I started from just the idea of becoming a bookkeeper and in a month and a half not only had I started my bookkeeping business but I had landed my first bookkeeping client. This video walks you through an overview of the six weeks it took me to get to this point. If you’d like a more in depth explanation of each week find my week-by-week videos down below!

Start with commitment! Commit your mind to the idea that you can be successful at this; then, move on to the business set-up and logistics so that all of that is off of your plate! I talk about the basic accounting principles you should make sure to look into, as well as a brief overview of some of the questions you should ask yourself about your bookkeeping knowledge. And, finally moving towards landing that first client, or “potential” client, and what marketing you’re going to use to reach those clients.
