This is another video explaining how coronavirus kills human in brief (made easy). An attempt to help people understand the real scenario and facts about coronavirus.

Our respiratory tract is just like an inverted tree. Leaves are functional unit of tree and these green leaves are equivalent to alveoli of lungs.

Alveolus is nothing but the tiny air sacs where gaseous exchange takes place. Oxygen goes from lung to blood and carbondioxide moves out from blood to lungs and then to external atmosphere.

With coronavirus affecting the lungs, respiratory epithelium gets infected, fluids and mucus along with immune cells gets accumulated leading to loss of diffusion of gases.

This leads to hypoxia and eventually leads to multiorgan failure.
