Applicable through 2023. Lesson #2 - As of April 21, 2021, the FAA permits nighttime drone flight without the need for a waiver however, the use of anti-collision lighting must be used and the certified remote pilot must have completed an initial knowledge test or training as applicable under § 107.65 after March 1, 2021. We provide a video lesson on our YouTube channel which satisfies this requirement and additional information can be found here: https://www.faa.gov/newsroom/faa-anno...

Also, existing certified remote pilots can take the recurrent exam online for free using the FAA website: https://www.faasafety.gov/gslac/ALC/C...

Beginning July 1, 2021, the cost to sit for the initial Airman Knowledge Exam is $175. For additional information, visit: https://faa.psiexams.com/faa/login

At the end of this video, we review several questions and answers but please note that the FAA has changed some of the referenced "Figure Numbers" but the referenced graphs remain the same.
