"The other day when Phillip was helping me flip our mattresses over, we found two prayer cloths underneath his side of the mattress. One was from Bro. Jewel Forney.. I'll never forget that day when Sadie and I had both went up for prayer for Phillip ... I remember it bringing Bro.Jewel to tears, to see a little girl asking for her Daddy's salvation. That was a few years ago...More recently Lily had went up for prayer for Phillip. This time Bro.Timothy was preaching and after he prayed with her, he gave her his handkerchief that had the word "Daddy" embroidered on it.He instructed her to put it under her Daddy's mattress. I remember thinking to myself, that I already had one under there :(... At the time, everything seemed so impossible, but we kept on saying that he was coming, even when our hearts were too broken to really believe it... Listen, we serve such an awesome God, that can put back the pieces of a shattered life, that can heal scars, that can restore identity."
