Learn how to sketch various types of architecture in ink and watercolour with this series of 7 lessons and sketches. In this first lesson, I sketch an old Greek ruins, starting with simple watercolour washes, then trying it together with pen work. I'll add the next new sketch in this series to our YouTube channel every few days, so subscribe to get notified.

MATERIALS I USED FOR ALL 7 SKETCHES
1. A spiralbound watercolour pad (A4 / American letter size). Cold-pressed (NOT) surface.
2. A travel set of 10 student watercolour pans: lemon yellow, cadmium yellow, cadmium red, alizarin crimson, Prussian blue, ultramarine blue, sap green, viridian green, yellow ochre, burnt sienna. I use a cheap set by Aquafine that I got from Amazon but any brand will do. Student quality is fine for sketching.
3. A watercolour pen brush. I use a couple of brands during the 7 sketches but I recommend Pentel over all others.
4. A black fine liner pen. I use a Sakura Pigma Micron pen with a 0.5 nib. Again, any brand is fine and a 0.5 nib is just a medium-sized nib.
