Lets dive into US again and grab a couple of Passive Income ETFs . Generally, US ETFs are great for a couple of reasons:

- lowest fees
- US generally have more stocks & more stocks that pay dividends and increase their dividends- US stock market historically performed better than TSX
- If you use Tax Sheltered accounts then no dividend taxes needs to be paid

In this video you will find 4 best Dividend ETFs on US stock market based on overall historical performance, diversification and strategy they are using. And remember, you will never see a MER being charged on you as a transaction on your account.. the MER is included into the ETF price.. a nice way to look at it is to subtract MER from Dividend Yield.

For example if ETF's dividend Yield is 3% and MER is 0.2%.. then the effective net income you would be getting is 2.8% ( and that is just dividend.. not accounting for capital gains (share price appreciation) you would be getting overtime..)

An important thing I want to mention for my Canadian friends. As the ETFs I'm going to talk about today are on US stock market and they they are dividend paying ETFs.. ideally you want to hold them on:
- RRSP, because no dividend tax credit, and no withholding tax
- If no room left in RRSP or you don't want to use RRSP for some other reason - the next best thing is your unregistered account or marging account, because all or part of the 15% withholding tax can be recovered through the foreign tax credit
- If #2 is not an option for you as well for some reason... then TFSA.. but there will be withholding tax (15%) that cannot be recovered
