The ARCS Model to motivate student learning is broken down into it's four elements in this video. Here we discuss the importance of student learning in terms of motivating students to learn. ARCS is an acronym for the words attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction. In the first element, the video several reasons why teachers and educators should look to get their students attention. The second element, is relevance, where the video discusses why teachers need to present their content and have lesson plans that are relevant to the lives of their students. The third element is confidence. It goes over several of the ways that teachers can help build confidence in their students.
