Making Workshop Furniture has become and new priority for me lately; time to make a space saving stand for my Oscillating Belt Sander and I have all sorts of good quality mismatched hardwood I can use to maker this stand with including Beech, Garry Oak, Alder, Big Leaf Maple and even some Madrona, I decided to install some proper full extension drawers and even picked the "soft close" version because the drawers will contain parts for my Sliding Mitre saw and Table Saw, as well as my Oscillating Multi Tool, Angle Grinder and Cordless Milwaukee Palm Router so the drawers will get used a lot. I want something that will withstand getting moved around so it needs to be very strong, but I don't want wheels on it so I settled for what I believe is the strongest joinery and that was dowels with my Dowelmax jig ... quick, easy and super strong for this fun and versatile build.
