I am making a dowel plate which is a tool for making round wood dowels. In this case I am using a sheet of tool steel, putting a burr on the holes that I am drilling, and forcing greenwood dowels through. It is very effective, and I am using this to make the arms and legs for my Dutch dolls aka Grodnertal dolls.
