So why do most people think you need a real estate license to successfully invest in real estate? The fact is
you do need a license in most professional occupations, you need a license to become a Doctor, Lawyer, Nurse, Insurance agent etc.

But there’s many Reasons you don’t need a license to invest in real estate
-as a private individual you have the right to buy a house from another person or business and you don’t need a license. You don’t even have to use a licensed agent in the transaction. We’ve been conditioned to believe you need a license or need to use a licensed Realtor, neither of which are true.

We’ve build a multimillion rental portfolio and acquired tons of rental units becoming financially free in just a few short years and only 1 of those transactions involved a Realtor. All the rest have been off market deals that we have done directly from seller to buyer.

Are there some benefits of being licensed as a RE investor? Yes. I’m not going to go into that in this video.

What you do need is to acquire the specialized knowledge which I’ll go into in Part 2 of this video.
