I hiked the Appalachian Trail and the Grassy Ridge spur. This video contains the Peake Monument. The wind is blowing 30-40 mph with wind chills below zero. I shot the video with 4k 60f/s. The views include Avery County Roaring Creek, Grandfather Mountain, Glen Ayre, Tennessee Valley and Mount Mitchell, to name a few. The film was shot in early December and my hike started at Carvers Gap. I brought my rifle since it was deer season. I believe it was way too cold for the deer. lol!
