Made by SAIC which is the same company behind Volkswagen in China, the Maxus D60 sure has received some inspiration from Volkswagen in terms of feel and experience.

Sporting a brisk but efficient 169hp 1.5L turbocharged inline 4 engine, a 7 speed dual clutch transmission, and NVH levels so good that you think the car easily costs twice its price tag, the 2021 Maxus D60 in this mid range Pro trim sits at a price point wherein you'll be expecting so much less.

For its price, you would expect that you'd be left wanting in terms of solidity, materials, and refinement, as with most of its similarly priced Korean and Japanese rivals, but the D60 delivers all of that, without breaking the bank.

At 1.148M Pesos for this Pro trim, or add a little bit more for the Elite trim which gives you LED headlamps, a restyled grille, push button start, leather seats, 18" rims, and most importantly, two additional seats, the Maxus D60 is surely another great addition to the lineup of Chinese cars in the Philippines.

1.5L Turbocharged I4 gasoline engine
169hp, 250Nm torque
7 speed dual clutch transmission with manual shifting and sport mode
