As many of you may have seen, there is a major proposed budget cut for Head Start. This simply cannot happen. Head Start is much more than just early childhood education. It's a chance to prepare at-risk children for kindergarten through a high-quality, comprehensive program.

The CAPNA Department of Children Services is dedicated to providing comprehensive early childhood education services for nearly 2000 children from families with low incomes by addressing families' educational and non-educational needs to create a holistic and supportive environment for children and their parents.
