Elon Musk is an innovative entrepreneur. His vision is to establish a human colony on Mars, which was the fascinating topic of his latest interview with podcast host Lex Friedman. As you all know, Musk is the CEO of both SpaceX and Tesla. And he had made it no secret that he wants to get people to Mars. And not just to orbit the planet, but actually land on it, which has never been done before.

Space X has been captivating the world with their ambitious plans to colonize Mars. Elon Musk has repeatedly claimed that he will build a self-sustaining city on Mars for future generations.

He is known for proposing an overly ambitious timeline - SpaceX's first Martian mission. He has recently re-unveiled the timeline planned for getting people to Mars.

In this video, I am going to show you what Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX, revealed during an interview, how his company is aiming to take people to Mars in the next 10 years.

In the latest interview with Elon Musk, podcast host Lex Friedman asked him how long would it take for SpaceX to land a human on Mars. Musk ended up offering some suggestions on the timeline. Musk said SpaceX's Starship crewed rocket mission could take "five and a half years" to land on the red planet. He remarked SpaceX will send humans to Mars on its Starship rocket in the worst-case scenario in 10 years.

Musk even applauded on Twitter saying, Fridman for asking great questions.

This is not the first time Musk has hinted at such a timetable for the landing of humans on Mars. Elon Musk had made this bold claim in several interviews.

But recently, He stated that he is “absolutely” certain his company will send people to Mars. SpaceX is currently building a spacecraft that can carry at least 100 people to Mars. This may sound like science fiction, but it’s becoming an increasingly feasible option for space travel. Stay tuned to this video, if you want to learn more about this exciting mission and what Musk has said in his latest interview. According to Musk, we need a “backup drive” for humanity just in case something goes wrong. He has long argued that humans must establish a permanent, self-sufficient presence on Mars if planet Earth becomes uninhabitable as a result of something like nuclear war or the impact of an asteroid.
