Lena-Lisa Wüstendörfer holds a doctorate in musicology and works as a conductor. Against this professional background, she takes a look at Wassily Kandinsky's work "Fuga" (1914), whose title refers to classical compositional technique in music built around polyphony (fugue). For us, she traces the artist’s exploration of musical themes in his painting.

The work review is part of the series "Der andere Blick", for which we have invited a handful of well-known personalities to look at works of art from their field of expertise.
