🌳 Park of Eternal Glory is one of the most luxurious parks in Kyiv, located on the slopes of the Dnieper.
This unique location of the park has formed numerous observation platforms, which offer magnificent views of the inflows of the Dnieper, the Left Bank and the golden domes of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra.

The park was founded back in 1894 by the commandant of the Kyiv fortress, Lieutenant General Anosov.
Subsequently, the park was expanded and landscaped.
In 1956, a resolution was adopted by the Council of Ministers of the USSR on the construction of the Park of Eternal Glory to the soldiers of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 on this site. In 1957, the Memorial of Eternal Glory was inaugurated.

In 2008, the “Memorial to the Victims of the Holodomor in Ukraine” was built on the territory of the park. This is a memorial complex dedicated to the famine of 1921-1923, 1946-1947 and the Holodomor of 1932-1933.

Today, the Park of Eternal Glory is one of the most favorite places for relaxation and walks for both Kiev residents and city guests.
