Some recent progress on my ongoing quest to build, install and integrate quantum optics to form a network, featuring the control of SPDC quantum entanglement sources using the mobile IoT app Blynk along with Polarization characterization equipment made by Thorlabs that can in principle perform a Bell basis measurement of polarization entangled states which is the key for performing gate based operations such as the SWAP operation which can help with the process of entanglement distribution to distant clients in a network. XOR is another gate based operation in quantum networks, in particular of use in creating one-time-pads for key generation. Stay tuned for more!
