In late 1966 one of the greatest teams of hot rodders ever assembled built the world's fastest Mustang by swapping a Ford Indy engine into the front of the first 1967 Mustang ever produced. The car was driven to speed records on the Bonneville Salt Flats by none other than Mario Andretti.
