Hello, everyone, I'm Amy. And I want to thank you for joining me today for my review of the purple carrot foodservice purple carrot is a well known vegan meal delivery service. They are of course 100% plant based. And it's up to us whether or not they're 100%. Delicious. But that's why today, I'm going to be sharing you one of their recipes to see if you think based on what you see as like cooking, if it's worth the effort worth your pretty pennies and worth the calories. This is to be fair, my second time using the purple carrot meal box, my first experience it had its highs, it had its lows. And in the end, I didn't feel confident about whether or not it was truly an ideal service. And so hopefully today, I'll get a better idea. It's ideal for me. And hopefully you'll also be able to tell the ideal for you. Okay, so now that I have all of my ingredients out, I want to show you that they do package everything very tightly, all of the things are together and love label, you do get a couple ingredients like the softer vegetables, and perhaps a loose garlic out on their own. But for the most part, your stuff is organized to an extent where you can't mess it up. Additionally, you get this lovely recipe book, which really excites me because most meal services only provide the recipes that you've ordered for them. Whereas purple carrot allows you to get every single recipe that they have made for the week, and there's breakfast lunches, dinners. And so if once you finish these you feel like you liked the recipes and you want to go exploring, you can have some more culinary adventures when you're done. Now today, although I have three lovely meals, I'm only going to be making one. So we're going to put everything away that I'm not working with and when you come back, we will be able to show you all of the pieces of the chickpea maximun curry recipe. And now through the magic of movies, all of my ingredients are right here ready to go. Let's talk about the quality. Well, everything is high quality ingredients. Because of the minimal packaging, I do have some damage on some of my vegetables. Because these things were together, you can see some damage on my bell pepper that has left a piece of itself on the curry and a little bit of mess on these cans. I kind of forgive purple carrot for that personally because knowing that they are a vegan service that is very focused on minimizing people's carbon imprint, they do their best to minimize the amount of packing in there for waste that goes in. So it's something I think they need to develop and maybe reconsider where they put certain vegetables. But so long as you don't have any rot within the food, which clearly there is done. They're fresh and beautiful, it's still safe to use. I thought toys a little dirty, but that's what you would expect from most vegetables, and I was gonna clean it anyway. So for the most part, I'm satisfied with how my things came. And I'm excited to get into the next step where we're going to cook it... sorry guys.
