Do you have old garden seeds sitting around your home, and you're not sure what to do with them? Don't throw them away without testing the seed viability. Seed viability tells us that the seeds can germinate and they can still be planted and grow. In this video, I show you a super easy way to test seeds that will help you gain confidence in keeping your old seeds.

Seeds can be good for many, many years! I demonstrate the seed viability test on eight (8!) year old radish seeds. I did an experiment based on a student's question from an in person class I recently taught, to learn if there was any difference in seeds from an opened or unopened seed packet. Watch to the end to find out how all the seeds performed, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
