I rented this 2010 Ferrari California in Las Vegas to demonstrate the reasons why I believe there is no better time to buy a used Ferrari California. In this in depth review, I will address the issues people have with this car including the design, the quality, and the claim that it is not a true Ferrari. If you are considering buying a used Ferrari California, this is the best time to purchase one since the prices have flatlined, and have not been affected by the post pandemic market conditions. In other words, this is a Ferrari you can own for free since you will likely sell it for the same purchase price.

Exterior design is the only truly controversial factor of the Ferrari California. Due to its front engine configuration (although it is still technically a mid engine layout), you miss out on the driving experience of hearing the roar of a naturally aspirated V8 that revs up to 8,000 RPM directly behind you. Instead, it is ahead of you, which also affects the handling and overall driving experience. If you can forgive that, then you have yourself a bargain Ferrari. It sounds like a Ferrari, it feels like a Ferrari, the interior is ALL Ferrari, and the power is ridiculous for the price. 0-60 in a blistering 3.6 seconds makes the Ferrari California faster than the Ferrari F430 that I reviewed 6 months ago. The 4.3L naturally aspirated V8 cranks out 453 horsepower and 357 lb/ft of torque mated to a lightning fast dual clutch transmission.

As I mentioned, the interior has the gorgeous stitching framing all of the italian leather inside the cabin. The vents, the steering wheel, the paddle shifters, identical to every other Ferrari you have seen in this era. This is absolutely not a CHEAP Ferrari. It’s a tremendous example of a high quality supercar created to be more accessible. Watch my full in depth buyers review as I highlight the exterior, the interior, the features, and tell you wether or not I think you should buy a used Ferrari California. This is the exotic car hack of the century. The bargain exotic.
