15.01.2023 - Cologne, Germany - Local train collides with Ford Focus

On sunday evening, a couple was travelling with their Ford Focus in Cologne. On a railroad crossing, the broke down. Both occupants tried to push the car of the tracks, while a train was rushing towards them. A local train collided with the Ford and pushed it dozens of metres down the tracks. Nobody was hurt in this accident.
A local recovery company towed the destroyed car. The crane of a normal car recovery truck was too short, a mobile crane was called to lift the car off the rail tracks.
