The Smokey Mountains 500 includes some of the best dual sport riding in the Southeast U.S. Follow along as we ride portions of the SM500 and other routes in the area, while camping at Two Wheels of Suches. We even randomly bumped into the creator of the SM500, Andy Simons, while on the trail (2:53). Good times!

Did you wonder about the spelling? Should it be “Smokey” or “Smoky”? According to Andy Simons, it is “Smokey.” This has been discussed ad nauseam on the route’s Facebook group—please search there if you want details.
