Driving our RV on Highway 6 from Vernon to Nelson brought through the heart of the Kootenay Rockies in British Columbia. It was a beautiful scenic drive with stops in Cherryville, Kaslo and Nakusp. We also stopped for an amazing forest hike through the Retallack Cedar Trail. One of the highlights was taking Izzy on the Needles cable ferry. Traveling British Columbia in Western Canada in our RV led us to some incredible lakes and scenery but the roads aren't for the faint of heart. RV living is the best way to explore British Columbia for sure.
