In today's video I will discuss a surgical option that can treat presbyopia permanently, AKA the need for reading glasses that starts for many people in their early 40s. This type of presbyopia eye surgery is known as refractive lens exchange surgery or RLE. I will go over how RLE works, who are candidates for RLE surgery, what to expect before and on the day of RLE surgery, the recovery process, and what are the risks of this type of surgery.
