Ein ganz besonderer Ausflugstipp für alle Kunstfans in Basel
Mit Hans Arp präsentiert die Fondation Beyeler in der Ausstellung «Rodin/Arp» zurzeit einen Künstler mit einem grossen Lokalbezug.

Er lebte und arbeitete zeitweilig Basel und verstarb schliesslich auch in der Stadt. Wir zeigen Ihnen nun die Werke ausserhalb des Museums im öffentlichen Raum von Basel-Stadt und Baselland. Gleich ein ganzes Ensemble sakraler Werke Hans Arps befindet sich in der Kirche St. Peter und Paul in Oberwil in Baselland und macht einen Besuch zu diesem geschichtsträchtigen Ort definitiv eine Reise wert.

Die Serie ist entstanden in Zusammenarbeit mit @baseltourism. Die Ausstellung «Rodin/Arp» läuft noch bis zum 16. Mai 2021.

A very special excursion tip for #artlovers in Basel
With Hans Arp, the Fondation Beyeler is currently presenting an artist with a great local connection as part of its great exhibition "Rodin/Arp".

For spells of his life, Arp lived and worked in Basel and ultimately died in the city. Traces of his work can be found also outside the museum in the public spaces in and around Basel. We are going to take you there.
An entire ensemble of Hans Arp's sacred works for instance is found in the church of St. Peter and Paul in Oberwil in Baselland, making a visit to this place steeped in history definitely worth the trip.

The series was created in collaboration with @baselswitzerland. The exhibition "Rodin/Arp" still runs until May 16, 2021.
