A photo and a card. It's these little clues that give rise to big plans. The culture of mountaineering is based on adventure. Discovering and conquering never-before-climbed peaks. The same codes are passed on through the culture of sport, and are the same today in freeride skiing. To explore further, higher and faster.
It was with these dreams in mind that I set off to discover a glacial plateau with summits that had never been skied. In reality, no one can say for sure, and in the end, how important is the answer? Travel is a state of mind, and that's how I'll approach my quest for meaning, and for freeriding. One question remains unanswered: But what is the impact of such a journey? Does this individual adventure with collective consequences deserve to be highlighted?
