This week, the all-new 2021 Audi A3 made its world debut. With its sharper styling, improved driving dynamics, and more technologically advanced interior, the new Audi A3 is a considerable improvement over its predecessor. So far, Audi has only shown off the Sportback version of the 2021 A3, which won't be going on sale in America.

Instead, US customers will need to wait for new Audi A3 Sedan to arrive, which will take on the Mercedes A-Class Sedan. America's new Audi A3 should break cover sometime this year, but we already have a good idea what it will look like thanks to a render designed by artist Kleber Silva.

Inside, the 2021 Audi A3 Sportback is upgraded with a new standard 10.1-inch touch display integrated into the center of the instrument panel, a 0.25-inch digital instrument cluster operated with the multifunction steering wheel, and more premium materials, which will carry over to the sedan. The touch screen can also be upgraded to a larger 12.3-inch display.

Under the hood, Europe's 2021 Audi A3 Sportback will be available with a 1.5-liter TFSI gasoline engine with 150 hp and a 2.0-liter TDI diesel producing up to 150 hp. Power will only be sent to the front wheels initially, but models with Audi's Quattro AWD system will also be offered. In the US, the 2021 Audi A3 Sedan is still expected to be offered with a 2.0-liter turbo-four, which produces 184 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque in the current A3, and 288 hp and 280 lb-ft in the S3.
