Award-winning journalist David Dimbleby has interviewed almost every British prime minister in contemporary history, anchored 10 consecutive general elections from 1979 to 2017, owned nine local newspapers and has been a commentator for several major events - ranging from Richard Nixon's 1969 presidential visit to Princess Diana's funeral. In his new book Keep Talking, he invites the reader behind the scenes of his extraordinary 50 year career. While working at the BBC he was obliged to appear neutral but in this book gives his thoughts on politics, monarchy and the state of Britain. On his personal life Dimbleby revealed that he did not begin exercising until aged 70, adding that: “In my day, no one went jogging or anything like that, it seemed sort of ridiculous”.
