A Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew hoists an
injured Italian crewman from the Italian-flagged freighter Cinzia
D'Amato 117 miles from Adak, Alaska, Sept. 11, 2013. The man was
suffering from severe injured sustained in a 75-foot fall from the
exhaust stack of the vessel and was transported to awaiting emergency
medical personnel in Adak who then further transferred him by commercial
medevac service to Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage for
