A major investigation is now underway by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) into the Baltimore Bridge collapse.

The NTSB is expected to board the vessel for the first time today to begin gathering information for their investigation. They will also be looking into the ship's safety record and into the bridge as well. The investigation is expected to last roughly 2 years.
