Shimano 105 or Ultegra, which is the better road groupset? More specifically, which is the best one for you? In this video, I give my thoughts (such as they are...).
Summary (if you can't be bovvered to watch): Shimano 105 is so good these days, you don't need to pay the extra for Ultegra. It's your shortcomings as a rider (fitness, carrying extra 'onboard fuel') holding you back, not your Shimano 105 components.
All that said, if you want Di2 electronically shifting, or you just want to treat a special bike frame to a higher end groupset, then I'm certainly not going to stand in your way.
