I was inspired to try the ND1000 filter by Aldryn at FLYPATH. He has demonstrated these filters with some excellent 'time lapse' images from the San Diego Beaches. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of motion stills that can come from one position in the sky, as the water moves in and around the rocks below. I did find that you can get 'too close' to the water, with images that did not show the scope of the motion. So, for me, my best images were from a little bit of distance away from the subject location. But, for you, and your skill set, who knows what you could produce. Certainly you'll get an image worth mounting for the collection on your wall!!!
